WE RECOMMEND A COMMERCIAL BUILDING INSPECTION
Central Idaho Properties always recommends a commercial building inspection to uncover any problems that might exist structurally and also those hidden issues that can cost you a lot of money later on in repairs. When our buyers opt to take our advice and hire a certified commercial building inspector, we can often renegotiate the terms and/or price of the property with the sellers, should the inspection uncover structural issues, roofing problems, rotten joists, water issues, plumbing or whatever problems are reported within the commercial inspection report. Additional inspections that can be requested include structural pest inspections as well as mold inspections.
Commercial building inspection fees can vary, depending on various factors such as overall square footage, whether it’s light industrial, or if it’s an apartment building with multiple units, the base price will increase. At the time needed, our commercial real estate agent will share a number of inspection companies you can contact that provide services in the general area where the building is located. Just remember that an inspection can save buyers hundreds if not thousands of dollars if problems exist that aren’t obvious during your initial review of the building.
