If you enjoy serene, picturesque landscapes, Fish Creek Meadows is a must-visit. This winter paradise features groomed cross-country ski trails in 3, 5, and 7-mile courses, catering to all skill levels. The highlight? The warming cabin at the end of the 7-mile course, where you can take a break, sip on your thermos of hot cocoa, and soak in the tranquil surroundings.  You may even see some wildlife moving through the pristine landscape.

Insider Tip: No need to arrive early to beat the crowds.   There are no crowds and what you’ll find, especially during the weekday, is quiet tranquility as you enjoy the trails at your own pace. It’s a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the beauty of Idaho’s winter wilderness.  As a cautionary tip:   Its always a good idea to head to the mountains with a couple of friends or family members.
